I purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from here in 2018. My car was sold to me with a dead battery, no radio antenna, a nail in one of the tires and the check engine light popped on almost immediately (and has stayed on). Every time I go into a Kia dealership for service, they ask me: "Did you know your check engine light is on? ". I then explain it's always been on since I purchased my vehicle. Sometimes they turn it off, sometimes they don't. This was the point of my latest issue.

I won't get into all the details, but Lokey Kia is infested with lying, scummy people who treat you like a friend when you walk in, then, once you pay and sign the papers and leave the premises you turn into a foe. Just like cockroaches, when you see one, then two, then three.you know there is an infestation. Again, just like cockroaches, scummy creatures tend to migrate towards other scummy creatures, and that is what Lokey Kia is in a nutshell.

I've had service performed at 6 different dealerships since my purchase. Only 1 out of 6 treated me well (even though I still waited a lengthy amount of time at the 1 decent dealership- Longmont, CO).

I would recommend a lobotomy before recommending Lokey, or in fact any Kia dealer. Again, if you have already purchased a vehicle, YOU ARE THE ENEMY!

I am taking the time to write this review and many others on additional websites. If one person decides not to buy, and therefore $1 comes out of the pocket of Lance Parrot and/or his lying crew of scumbags, then this review would be worth it. I will never spend another dime at any Kia after my experiences. I would rather starve to death than support Kia in any way. Don't get me wrong, there are other scum-sucking douchebags at other locations, but none as scummy as Lance Parrot. If you are reading this Lance, you lied to me again just a week and a half ago, remember? I understand you blocked my email, and you have your cronies doing the talking for you, and that's ok, because I really don't want to communicate with you anymore either. I will be sending you a bill soon. If you don't pay, I will add interest, and send you an additional bill. I am part Irish, and I am very stubborn.

Kia; you've wasted my time for the last time. Now I will waste your time.

I am so happy. I purchased a Kia!
I am even more happy, about my Lokey Kia Dealership!
They treat you like family there, they answered all my questions and concerns, have a very nice waiting area, and come and get you when your services are done, and walk you to your vehicle!

Update: Just took my vehicle in for 15,000 mile check. In and out in record time. I was impressed. Maybe they’ve revamped how many vehicles they schedule at a time. But, whatever, it’s working!

Great people to work with.friendly and honest. Good job! Very nice and comfortable accommodations while you wait.

Timing not so much! They need to be better at servicing customers who make an appointment ahead of time vs.walk-ins. This is a problem EVERY time I take my vehicle in to be serviced.

Checked in at 10: 30 for a 10: 45 appointment. They didn’t finish until 1: 30. Oil change and wheel alignment. NEVER should have taken 3 hours. NEVER!

Went to look at vehicle wanted to test drive and let my husband see the car. My husband is handicapped and was unable to GO TO THE DEALERSHIP with me so when I did test drive I was NOT ae to allow my husband to see the car due to the salesman only wanting to go around 1 block around the dealership. I just left not gonna get my money nor business if I can't allow my HUSBAND to see vehicle I will not make a purchase like that EVER

My wife purchased a Kia Soul from Lokey Kia in Clearwater. We found the Staff to be very friendly and accomodating. Hats off to Wolf Otto, our salesman, who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. We felt his personal concern for us, and his honestry in his dealings with us. We will recommend Lokey Kia to our friends in the future.

The team is very efficient but lokey as a whole should provide loaners to customers who purchased their vehicles new from their dealership. No VIP service for their own customers which is unfortunate given all of the used vehicles on their lots.

I was at the dealership on Saturday for an oil change was told I had a recall on my vehicle. They did the typical multi point inspection and recommended breaks, cabin filter and some other service. I declined all they finished my car and I left. I got all the way home went to get out of my car to realize they left car parts on my floor board. I had to then drive all the way back to the dealership for them to put the parts back. Doesn’t leave much faith in the technician working On my vehicle or the service advisor that brought my car to me. Not a good experience this time around. Not sure I’d have other services done there now.

Service was on time did what they said they would do. Technician was very rushed at check in would have liked a little more personality, was my first visit did not know the procedure did not know where the waiting room was when car was ready some stuck head into waiting room and hollered my last name. Not that I expect any preference but think all customers would he treated with a little more respect.

My grandma and mom have bought two different cars on separate occasions from Lokey Kia (in 2009 and in 2016). Each experience has been a welcoming, informative one that made the buying process easy. I recently went in to just get an idea on a couple cars and was not pressured into buying just any car from the sales rep I worked with; Jermaine. The service has been a reliable one while the prices have been affordable each time. We have been coming here for years and I recommend this dealership to all my friends, family members, and co-workers looking to buy a car; new or used. I know I will be back soon to buy our third car from Lokey Kia!

With service. They offer a free car wash, but you have to ask for it. So ask, Good service would be for them to ask if you would like the car wash. Good service would be a really good cat wash especially when you are paying hundreds of $$$ in labor charges. Just saying

On 12/26/18 I purchased a 2019 Kia Sportage at LOKEY KIA 27960 US-19, Clearwater FL 33761, I traded in a 2016 Honda CR-V SE for a negotiated price of 18,363.05 to be paid to Honda Financial Service, the lien holder of this vehicle. As of 1/16/2019,10: 10 AM no payment has been made and now as of 1/17/19, the payoff amount is 18,398.43. I was deceived into believing that the amount of 18,363.05 would be paid off in a timely manner but I was wrong, so now there is charge of 35.38 which I am legally responsible for. I am not sure if this is a common sales practice, I want all potential customers to know what happened to me so it doesn't happen to you. WARNING there are three very important things to things to consider when you enter the finance department at LOKEY KIA 27960 US-19, Clearwater, FL 33761 # 1 have the finance manager turn on the video and audio recorder as soon as you walked in his office, this way everything that he explains to you should be truthful and honest, for some reason they only record when you get ready to sign the paperwork, # 2 think very hard about signing the arbitration disclosure agreement. (An arbitration agreement is a written contract in which two or more parties agree to settle a dispute outside of court. The arbitration agreement is ordinarily a clause in a larger contract)
# 3 if you are trading in a vehicle with an outstanding lien, get proof in writing of the exact date when the lien will be paid off, I had no problems with Mike and Ryan who were very professional when I negotiated the price of the vehicle with the two of them. Michael was the finance manager that handled my paperwork. This is a review of my experience with this dealership.

Took forever! They offered to wash the car and they did a terrible job. I asked if they could please hurry as I had to go to work, and they said “they can’t do anything”. My car only has 6k miles! New! I had to wait over 2.5 hours for an oil change when they said it would only take max 1.40. As a result I was late for work. I am a teacher.

I purchased a vehicle with them on 12/27/18. I gave the finance manager $4500 cash. A week later I received a call that they never received the cash. Even though I explained yes you did and I have the purchase agreement to prove it. They threaten to not payoff my trade-in until I paid them again. I spoke with my attorney and he suggest to try and settle it with them. I spoke with Jim Braley the manager and we both agreed to a fair payment. I paid an additional $3000 unfortunately and they still have not paid off my trade-in. See the signed purchase agreement I have attached. Find another dealer.

Went for car service. They do a good job, free wi-fi, water, donuts, popcorn, comfortable couches. Only ask is for some more seating and/or quiet areas not in front of tvs.

Went in for first set after buying my latest car & everything was great. The were busy but no worries as I am a patient guy. As I bought my car from them, oil @ lube was free, all else was good, there was NO charge + even a free car wash. If you can beat that please let me know!

Isabell I’m not quite sure what her name is only young lady at the oil change service department.one of a kind! Not many people like her! What a BEAUTIFUL, kind, considerate, compassionate, all put together lady! And s’re takes her time with you with makes you feel great with a understanding iattitude! YouI need more people like her. I love going to her when it’s time for an oil change service awesome! She is a keeper

Our experience at Lokey Kia was as excellent as we are already used to. This time Juanito "Jay" Rudio was who helped us with our trade in and he did a fantastic job. He was very honest, helpful, and gave us great advice. I will always return to Lokey!

Excellent treatment and customer service. Of all the dealers that I visited this one the best. The seller Tanoka Adams was very attentive, helpful and respectful. 100% recommended!
