Mall of Americas DMV, Miami FL

Zero stars. Came at 11 am on a Monday and the line out the door was literally 100 yards long. I walked right out. They should take appointments.

The people that work there have horrible customer service. Give you attitude all the time not just to me but to everyone I see them talking to. I wish they can make this electronically Becuase this is a waste of money with so many uneducated employees.

I am not one to typically leave bad reviews but I found it absolutely necessary given my experience as compared to the reviews. Now first I want to confirm that the site is organized and systematic but they severely lack in EVERYTHING else. The staff was rude, abrupt, and not courteous at all. Which is very disheartening considering this is many peoples FIRST time at the site so they may not be as familiar with protocols. I had an 11am appointment. When I first arrived at 10: 30 I was redirected (rude and abruptly) to an area in the back of the mall. There I saw 3 times all marked within 10 minute intervals (which was organized). Naturally I stood in the time closest to my time (10: 50am). I was then told (again abruptly and rudely) that I was in the wrong line I had to wait for them to put up the 11 am line. Once that line WAS up and running I watched as those at 10: 30,10: 40, and 10: 50 were all redirected to the NEXT line in a timely and systematic fashion. However my line is just arriving to the next line 30 mins after my set appointment time! With how orderly the staff insisted on being I would’ve thought they would be courteous enough to acknowledge when they caused delay but alas. Some of the staff were also NOT bilingual which I think is crazy considering it’s a government entity. I definitely will NOT EVER be coming back.

UPDATE: The staff on the actual inside of the building were very courteous. I spoke to a woman who was super nice super helpful and super courteous. I almost forgot how upset I was about waiting in line for 3 whole hours.

Several stores has been closed here, although the opened a new Burlington store and there is a Cotsco and the FLDMV office, Marshall and Old Navythis place is going down hill. Plenty of parking space.

I visited this location several weeks ago searching for help since I needed to do a CDL knowledgement written test and they were so professional and attentive while following guidelines to go through COVID-19. Your team at this location is doing a great job but I will specially thank PAOLA (your S. B, a joke she will understand) who reached her supervisor in order to assist me better with my request, they explained me the path to follow while taking care of many other people at the same time. I was particularly amazed about how organized the employees were and the volume of people they were being able to help. Thanks a lot and I think this office should be a clear example for others of the compromise you have with every U. S citizen and population. My best wishes and keep up the good work. Thanks. Wish I could give 0 stars u have one person whose job is picking that phone up and helping people and they cant even do that right I was on hold for almost 40 minutes! Somebody picked up the phone finally didnt say anything to me when I said I feel like they're ignoring me on purpose they literally hung up the phone right after I said that.u have one job pick up the phone and talk. Disappointing waste of time.this wont change anything at all they're government workers they dont care

Took about 1 hour here to exchange my CA driver's license to an FL license. Very friendly and competent. License was given on the spot. Appointments were readily available. Took CA DL, Passport, SSN and 2 proof of address documents: letters from my auto insurance and from USPS mail forwarding.

If you are elderly and especially a handicapped driver then stay away from this place and have a vision test with your doctor to fill the form and do everything by mail, because they will make any excuse to make you take a practical exam even if you came in at the last few days before your expiration and your car is broken, which is suitable for your disability. My family member was told she had to do this because she could not walk. I said she could but only for a short distance enough to get in a car. She demonstrates this and then was told because a 90 years old man had bad reflexes she could have them to. I thought with this person there would be no wheelchair or/and elderly drivers, because what is to stop them from saying you failed because of whatever invented excuse. They are obviously biased. Well she was coerced to get a ID and turn in her license.

All this time I was treated with attitude and told in a threatening manner to stand back and sit down when I was obviously there to help her since she was standing behind her walker for sometime and was afraid her knee would give out. I stood back just enough not to be conflicting but enough distance I could react. I was not about to sit down if they wanted to arrest me for that then I was willing to be or leave with her and come back with a lawyer for failing to accommodate a handicapped person.

A awful experience and nothing to stop them from doing what they want. That is why I am Seet Cland short for Secret and you can guess the rest.

I was in and out in 20 minutes! Super friendly, well staffed and exactingly efficient. (I went for the purpose of renewing my driver's license.)

Simply went for a ID card. Expected to wait a long time but as soon as I got my ticket, a station was ready for me. The worker was extremely friendly and attentive and I was out of there in less than 20 minutes.

Wonderful experience. Friendly staff. Only needed to renew a drivers license that was about to expire. The lady at the reception was very friendly and attentive. Got done within half an hour. Best dmv experience ever!

Horrible experience! My husband got his license at this location and the wait to ask a single question is over an hour, to take the driving test it takes more than 2 hours you’re just sitting in the heat while workers are inside doing nothing. The attitude inside the office is ridiculous like if they weren’t getting paid to do their jobs. I wouldn’t recommend this DMV to anyone. They don’t even let you take a seat if your accompanying someone.

The wait was horrible, every time i would ask a person in charge where to go she wouldnt help me and would just walk away.they need to get more organized and more friendly workers

Horrible customer service! My boyfriend made a payment for his drivers license renewal and we were waiting almost 1hr to get the card, while other people that paid after us were getting it already. Apparently the lady who attended us didn’t press OK in the computer and left for her lunch break. Everyone who we asked knew nothing. How can someone be so irresponsible? ! Speechless!

Great service with friendly people. Very happy to see how well organized and prepared they are.

Quick and efficient. Polite employees. In and out in 45 minutes! Arrive with necessary documentation and requirements and all will run smoothly. Great DMV experience.

Second time in Mall of Americas for my driver license. I had it in less than half an hour. People smiling and great service! $$

Horrible office! Mario the supervisor was not helpful at all. They will find the way not to give you the driver license on site but make you wait to be sent by mail

This place needs a space for people to wait if they're taking their practice exam. Having to wait two to three hours under an 80 degree weather is absurd. The staff will ignore you if you ask a question. I hope this changes with the amount of driving licenses demanded in this city. Really bad experience.
