This company has been HORRIBLE. I had cancelled a policy with them back in march of 2020 and they still billed my mortgage company. SO that resulted in double coverage and they would NOT refund the money. Then they turned around and billed my mortgage company again in march of 2021. Causing me to pay for double coverage again. And again I had to reach out and say HEY! You have been cancelled sense march of 2020. They refunded me for 2021.but they still are giving me a hard time about the refund for 2020. As of now. I'm out $1100.00

You are absolutely right, I should have expanded on my review. I left 1 star because I couldn’t leave less. As an insurance agent that has sold millions of dollars for your company, the one time I have a claim I have to go thru this. I haven’t been able to wash dishes for 2 years and my house has a waterfall inside. How are we as agents supposed to tell our clients that you are a good company? Yet you go to convention and give away money, motorcycles and a bunch of other things. This is absurd, we are supposed to be partners.

I just closed on a house and they sent me a bill for my first year's premium. When I called to inform them it was included in my closing, the CSR, Jeff, claimed I needed to speak to my mortgage company because they hadn't received it.

Jeff also claimed he couldn't tell me about my coverage cause he's not a "licensed agent". Since when do you have to be an agent to inform a customer about their policy?

Don't insure with this company.

Dark jokes hi attorney claim in two years ago and lakes near my house for over 9 months for a job should take only two months to due to the fact they wouldn't pay the contract where am I real estate agent what happens if you Bob Reed agreed insurance she used to classify me a policy other than universe it's just anybody do not ever go to university I never had a trying to clean in except one time and believe me it was a total living night m a r e

I cannot recommend Wendy highly enough. I don't usually post to reviews, but she almost single handedly restored my faith in this company. Previous agents had made poor impressions on me to say the least, but Wendy was the consummate professional and actually seemed to care about my experience. She took the time to explain proceedings and terminology in depth while still accessible for a layman like me. She gave me solid recommendations and answered all my questions. She made me feel confident in the direction my claim was heading and was beyond kind throughout the call, even offering her contact info if I needed help again. Stick with her and you will be with the absolute best!

Wish I could have rated this no stars. Here we are coming up. The one year anniversary of a hurricane & still no remedy with this company. 8 year customer, pays premium annually & on time! Yet I get treated Aa another number. First the claims adjuster lies says I have no damage. Then recants after I show him before & after pictures. Makes a low ball offer (insults my intelligence). & it’s been downhill since. Meanwhile it’s hurricane season AGAIN! This claim still hasn’t been resolved. The cost of material has gone up. & I’m emotionally drained & eagerly looking for a new insurance company! There’s about 4 of my neighbors who feel the same!

Do not work with this company, they’ll tell you that everything looks good and they’ll cover you, and then after you moved in from two weeks they’ll cancel you. They cancelled us for one shingle on the roof being patched up cause they wanted the whole roof re done for one shingle being damaged. Saying that the roof is unacceptable. Other people who don’t have a specific company that helps find insurance would be overwhelmed trying to find another one, especially with having to move and settle in. I DO NOT RECCOMEND, disappointed

UPDATE:
They have looked into the issue and reinstated the policy. If they cancel your insurance please make sure to email them to have the underwriters take a second look. Thank you foe looking into this.

A claim with this company is the worst experience in decades of owning 100's of properties. It is almost a year after hurricane Irma which my home took a direct hit and has much damage. This company does not pay their claims and makes low offers. It is the worst insurance company I have ever seen. Beware

Judith in Customer Service was excellent in helping us make progress after long delays in hearing anything on our claim from months ago-she expedited the situation and hopefully we will have better communication as a result.thanks Judith!

Everything was great until I actually needed to use my insurance. I filed a claim due to water damage from my roof into my daughters bedroom. They would not cover it because there were roofing tiles missing when I started the contract. However I had a contractor come and take a look at the roof. He said the roof had been damaged from a recent hail storm. I had the paperwork from the contractor and the guy who came to my house to check it out wouldn’t even look at it. I immediately replaced the tiles and had the damage fixed myself. They also denied me due to the hail damage.then not only that. I get a letter saying they are dropping me unless I get the roof fixed. I did take too long to send the appeal in (my own fault bc I’m new to this homeowner thing, but they don’t give u very much time.it’s almost like they set you up for their own benefit) but regardless I’m confused on how they won’t cover it and how once they start coverage they can deny you? They did have a picture of the 1 tile missing but nothing else on the roof. I have literally never written a negative review in my life, I just feel like this is a scam.these people collected my hard earned money then when I need services.they do nothing. At this point there is nothing I can do, I’m very disappointed and hope they realize they lost a lifetime customer.

Three stars because my first rep assigned was absolutely horrible. It took me weeks to get a call back and every time was one more I had to do. BUT, I was reassigned to John Bennett who is my insurance hero. He actually called me repeatedly to make sure we got it handled and completed super fast. I wish I had him first but he was great and helped me finish my claim and redeem the company.

I would just like to say THANK YOU to Bryan Connor. (Claims Examiner) We had our first claim ever with some water backup in our basement, that caused some major loss, and we were under insured. This process has been very stressful and overwhelming. We have never had to file a claim. Bryan turned a very bad situation into a Happy Ending. Bryan went above and beyond to help get our claim resolved. Thank you does not even begin to cover how grateful we are to you!
