Dayton Dental and Orthodontics, Centerville OH

So 2.5 months I went here to get my teeth pulled and get setup for dentures.
Today they tried to extort 143.00 from me to hold my appointment that was made 2 months ago. I have Ohio Medicaid so I don’t have to pay anything (not even a co-pay) that she tried to get today.
They left me on hold more than once for more than 20 minutes, they clearly don’t
Have a staff that knows what they are doing or any regards for patients. I did place a call to my medical provider and they are checking into the practices of this place.
Do your self a favor, go somewhere honest,
If I could give no stars I would have.

Terrible experience. Staff is extremely rude. You have a ton of OTHER options. Remember, a mistake from this office will last a life time.

Dr. Theis actually cares about people and does a wonderful job, he's gentle, kind and thorough. Kim did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth. Cheryl the office manager works with you to make sure all your issues are resolved. Thank all of you

I should have listened to all the negative reviews but I didn't. I went for the free consultation and was billed through my insurance over $400. STAY AWAY!
This office is VERY FILTHY.
I would not take my child back if the braces were FREE.

Horrible. Was scheduled to come in multiple times at 0730 only to show up to a closed office with a sign that states they do not open until 0800. Why schedule me for an appointment before the office is even open? ! After waiting until the office opened, the front desk was extremely uncaring and basically said “oh well”, and tried to reschedule me to another day!

No apology and no priority to complete my appointment today, just a poor attitude with no desire to correct thier mistake.

So. I’m sitting here waiting to be seen, my appt was at 11: 00 and it’s 12 and still haven’t been called, why over book clients when u know damn well you only have one dentist. Very Unprofessional! I’m in so much pain to even leave, will not be referring this office to my worst enemy!

My child had a procedure at Dayton Dental and orthodontics and the staff was kind and loving and took their time with my daughter. Feeling blessed to have found a new dental home

This is the most uncontrolled, unprofessional staff I have ever been in contact with. It’s not just the ancillary staff but the managers who would benefit from some customer service training. They are rude and don’t hold their tongues. As a medical professional, I don’t see how they get away with the behaviors or rudeness they display to patrons. Find another orthodontist to service your family.there are plenty around!

Dayton dental & orthodontics is a great place to be. Dr Antone & Dr Theis are professionals who know dentistry. The wait times are extensive right now but they have greatly improved.

Sat there for 3 hours, at the previous appointment they told me they would pull one wisdom tooth. They pulled my last 3, quite an executive decision to make without consulting the client. They barely communicate what's happening. The dentists in Prison were better.

Very helpful staff - they have gone the extra mile to get my son approved for braces - Dr Smith is very thorough and super with my kids

Worst customer service ever.waited 40 minutes and they took 4 patient after me keep telling me just a minute until I left. This is my second appointment with same issue. Terrible service.

Staff fails to maintain asepsis and doesn’t know how to seal pouches properly. If your pouches are not sealed properly your tools are not sterile, staff. I have had a couple of bad experiences here in the last year, some of them so unprofessional it’s unbelievable. Ill spare the details and leave it at this— poor bedside manner, and an unclean facility to the trained eye.

Will not go back to this place for any dental work. Went in for a denture repair and they would not repair (even though I told them I had a special occasion coming up) and told me to put super glue on it. I have waited two months now and have not heard if my insurance has approved for new dentures.

I called to make appointment a month ago. It's so hard to make appointment. I had to call 3 times. However, when I came on the day I scheduled, the employee said that we didn't have any appointment and she was not impatient to help. I was so confused

We have been going there for years. Just received a bill that has almost went to collections and has been building since 2015! Then I get pulled aside and told I have an outstanding bill for @$800. Can't believe the billing specialist told me, most companies don't do this for their customers. We have submitted this several times to the insurance. I am very displeased with Dayton Dental Orthodontics!

Very rude staff! Dr. Sarah is a no for me as well! My son had been going and started when he in the fourth grade prior to Dr Sarah starting and the other Dr was great! However my first experience with her is when she threatened to take off my son’s braces and stop treatment because of broken brackets after insurance had already fully paid! The correct protocol would have been to charge me $50 each time there was one broken. Fast forward to last encounter before deciding to find a new orthodontist and leaving the practice. Some of the staff as well as front desk was very very rude, they had a new unit manager whom I expressed my concerns and complaints as well as after asking questions about my son’s retainer and she acted as if she was all about their customers but at the end of the day if you complain or express anything thing that you are unhappy with they will no l not want you to be a patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Newby for any and all orthodontist needs! I would recommend any orthodontist other than Dayton Dental!

Both dentist are great.very efficient and quick there was standard wait time and I did receive a reminder call Everybody that works here is very nice

Bait and switch tactics with payment agreements for orthodontics. Terrible customer service, no follow-up, points fingers at other staff. I do not recommend!

Rude rude rude very extremely rude first get there the front desk lady isn't even polite waited past time of appointment got the x-rays first and after that I told them multiple multiple multiple multiple times that it is not my side of my teeth or my gums is in the back what is my wisdom teeth they said okay got to be pulled but before all that they kept taking pictures and it took three client nurses people to get it done it was very rude and asked me to get out of the room doctor comes in says that they need removed didn't even give her time to sign the consent form they started moving the chair back before I could even get it signed after that they went ahead and numbed me how to do it again and then the doctor just popped it out but was very unprofessional didn't explain anything to me and never explained prior to surgery or Home Care very very unprofessional will never recommend anybody to go there or any families or anybody and if you call back to get an appointment you can forget that they'll cancel it and the manager there is also rude
