Dayton Dental and Orthodontics, Centerville OH

Appointments always run 25+ min.late, even morning appts. They're located inside Sears near the restrooms - facility is tiny, crowded, dirty, dumpy, and ancient. Receptionists are not personable and are often rude. When I had a newborn I called 30 min.before my appt to ask if they were running on time. In so many words, they said yes. I got here, and everyone in the waiting room had already been waiting 1-1.5 hrs. I told the receptionist I'd like to reschedule bc I had a newborn at home. She said, "I'm so sorry, when you called a little bit ago we were running on time. " (How does that math work?) Hygienists were kind and did thorough cleanings, but my husband had two experiences with cavities being filled where they didn't numb him well enough either time, despite him telling them, and he was hurting all day both times. When they injected him with the numbing stuff both times, he felt they poked too deep and too quickly. He's never going back. We're both switching dentists.

This place is trash don’t even think about coming here I was young and was scared to take the needle for cavities and then they kicked me out saying they don’t except me because of that. The front desk was terribly rude and offensive and so was the doctor. THE PLACE IS TORN UP, TRASH, AND BY THE BATHROOMS IN A MALL if there were 0 stars here that is what I would give this discussing place. Don’t recommend this place don’t even thing about going there.

Walked right out of this office without going into appointment. It’s in the middle of a Sears. It’s trashy looking. Right next to the restrooms. Walls are all torn up. Open electrically outlet. The front desk was friendly, but will not be coming here. Never heard of a dentist office in the middle of a mall.

I went for my initial consultation/exam and I will NOT be going back. I had to wait for 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment before I was seen. There was a man in the waiting room bothering the other patients and the staff ignored it because dealing with him would have been “uncomfortable”. The facility was dirty and cluttered with random stuff all over the place. The staff was unprofessional, including the dentist, who literally spent less than 3 minutes with me. Horrible experience.

If I could give them 0 stars I would because my experience with them was absolutely terrible! My husband and I go to college in the area and decided to go to this dentist office because it was close and our insurance was accepted there. Worst mistake I've ever made. The receptionists were so incredibly rude and unhelpful, the office was so small that you're basically in a cubicle, if you have anyone with you they can't come in with you, and it just looked very dirty and run down. But even worse than that, they're simply out for your money and will tell you anything to get it. After waiting an hour in the waiting room and sitting through a rushed appointment, they told my husband an I both that we had cavities and needed fillings. We made appointments and didn't think much of it until the day of my filling appointment. Before I went in I saw a bunch of bad ratings and chickened out thank goodness! I talked to some of the people I worked with and got recommendations for trustworthy dentists and long story short, the second dentist we saw could find no possible cavities and could not figure out what the previous dentist was seeing. Don't waste your time or money here!

Dr. Sara and Corey I hope I spelled his name right are great! My son just got his braces September 9,2017 and he was having an issue and they fixed the problem right away. I've only seen the Orthodontics side of the practice and I'm very pleased with them. All the staff are very good. But Corey stood out because my son was really nervous but Corey made him feel at ease. He done an excellent job putting my son's braces on. Dr. Sara has always been very nice and always is there to help and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice.

I waited in their waiting room for 45 minutes after my appointment time before I actually got to go back for my cleaning. During this time they threatened multiple people that they would have to come back and make a new appointment if they were over 10 minutes late, funny how that only works one way. After my cleaning they claimed I had 4 cavities and that all 4 of my wisdom teeth that had grown in perfectly straight and had nothing wrong with them needed to be pulled. The office was very dirty looking and didn't feel one bit sanitary. I knew that I didn't want to go back there for the filling of my supposed cavities so I went to a much nicer practice with only 5 star reviews and they told me that I didn't have a single cavity and that my wisdom teeth were fine and didn't need to be removed unless they were hurting or giving me problems, which they are not. I will NEVER go back here or advice anyone else to go here. Go to South Dayton Family Dentistry, so much cleaner and nicer office and are actually honest and personable.

Great place terrific staff, speedy with great work is done here. Great cleaning done from a woman name Tia she is one of the best dentist that's ever worked on my teeth. She was very was polite I would recommend this dentist to everyone. Best dental place in town with the best staff. Thank you.

I just left there and the woman who filled my fillings didn't seem experienced at all. She gathered all the supplies and didn't even have gloves on. I had to tell her I wanted new supplies.
